overcoming creative block

I came across this post on a blog by Scott Hanson ISO50 from another site I really like, Craft Gossip. What caught my eye was the post title "overcoming creative block". Scott interviewed 25 artists on how they overcame creative block. One of my favorite answers is below but all were very interesting!

Many of us feel we are "creatively challenged" (especially when blog hopping between what i consider to be extremely talented, creative, people and their sites). We don't need to be "artists" to feel creative block. Sometimes we just feel blocked period.
I absolutely believe we can find inspiration everywhere, too. If we open our eyes to see beyond our normal vision, inspiration practically hits us in the face. I have been contemplating this "inspiration" thing for some time now. Hence, this blog was born. If for no one else, for me to keep track of people and places I find inspiring and make me feel happy.

My 2 cents... I think these people (talents vary according to personal preference) get out and do things we only think we will do or want to do some day!

Tom Muller's response (a belgian graphic designer):
To use this horribly overused sentence “I get inspiration from everywhere” read more...
